About the Role
The Chief of Staff will serve as the operational right hand to the Principal, supporting a growing philanthropic and personal platform spanning charitable giving, financial administration, household operations, and select strategic initiatives.
This role is designed for a highly trusted, high agency operator who can bring structure, momentum, and sound judgment to a wide range of priorities. Working closely with the Principal, the Chief of Staff will translate intent into action, build durable infrastructure, and ensure decisions are executed thoughtfully and efficiently.
This is a hands-on position with the opportunity to shape the role as needs evolve.
What You'll Do
Principal Partnership
Serve as the Principal’s primary operational partner
Advance priorities with minimal direction
Anticipate needs and proactively solve problems
Determine when to act independently versus elevate for input
Philanthropic and Financial Operations
Support execution of a philanthropic portfolio deploying significant annual capital
Coordinate with legal, tax, banking, and philanthropic advisors
Help establish governance structures and operating workflows
Maintain strong financial organization and follow through
Advisor and Vendor Management
Act as connective tissue across external advisors and service providers
Own key relationships to ensure alignment and accountability
Evaluate and refine vendor structures as needs evolve
Household and Property Operations
Oversee household staff and vendors as needed
Coordinate logistics across multiple properties
Introduce systems that improve efficiency and reduce friction
Representation
Engage with donors, institutional partners, and advisors as an extension of the Principal
Operate comfortably across diverse sectors including philanthropy and financial services
Special Projects
Support emerging initiatives and opportunistic projects
Help build infrastructure that allows the platform to scale thoughtfully

What We’re Looking For
Experience as Chief of Staff, senior ops, founder support, family office, or similar role
Demonstrated ability to operate with discretion and sound judgment
Strong relationship management skills
Financial and operational fluency
Low ego, high ownership mindset
Clear and effective communicator
Relevant backgrounds may include family office operations, early-stage companies, philanthropy, investing, or professional services.
Working Style
This role is hands-on, particularly in its early phase, with the opportunity to build and delegate over time. Comfort with change, adaptability, and proactive ownership are essential.
Compensation
Compensation will be competitive and commensurate with experience, scope, and level of trust. The role is intended as a long-term partnership, with incentive structures considered for the right candidate.
